Fee and Finance

Fee and Finance

Fee Structure

Our fees generally follow the guideline of the Ontario Dental Association fee guide for dental treatment. It reflects the quality of care you receive and the investment we have made in our facility and in training our doctors and staff. We are committed to providing our patient with the highest and up to date care.

Financial Information

Our doctors provide treatment and diagnoses based on the condition of your oral and dental needs and offers a treatment plan that will best suit you. We will provide a treatment plan for any diagnosed conditions of your mouth during your comprehensive exam. Your treatment plan will include a breakdown of all applicable fees, and we will give you a cost estimate before treatment.

If you have a dental insurance, we will also provide an estimate of your insurance benefit and charges. Because insurance policies vary, we can only estimate your coverage in good faith but cannot guarantee coverage due to the complexities of insurance contracts. If special arrangements are needed, these options can be discussed with our financial coordinator.

If you do not have dental insurance, we will provide you with offical reciept for medical expense which you may use for income tax purpose. Please consult with your tax advisor.

Payment Options

For your convenience, we accept cash, debit card, Visa, and Mastercard. For patient with dental insurance, we will help you submit treatment claims to your insurance company electronically via Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) or manually where EDI is not offered by your insurance company. When more extensive dental care is necessary, financial arrangements can be made with our office prior to your treatment.

Dental Financing

For patient who wishes to consider financing, we can help make your dental care more affordable through convenient financing. This allows you to pay for your dental treatment in low monthly payments to fit your budget. We offer financing through Dentalcard, a division of Medicard, for a simple, fast, financing option for you.

Coordination of Benefits (COB)

When a patient has two (or more) dental insurance plans, our office will help you to file your treatment claims (coordinate the benefit) to both insurances so that you may receive up to the maximum eligible benefit from both insurance plans. When submitting dental claims to two insurances, there are certain rules that must be followed in order to avoid problems or delays with your claims. Please contact our office if you would like to find out more about the coordination of benefits (COB).

Health Care Spending Accounts (HCSA)

A Health Care Spending Accounts (HCSA) is not an insurance per se but is an individual account (like a bank account) that provides reimbursement for eligible health care expenses. The patient must pay for eligible dental or medical in full and get reimbursed by submitting a receipt. It is more flexible than health or dental insurance because it can be used for any health-related expenses that would normally not be covered by insurance, such as cosmetic work, crown, bridge etc.. It can also be used to pay for copayment, deductible or amount not covered by typical insurance. Please contact our office at (519) 896-2669 to find out more information.

If you have any questions, we will be glade to answer them to the best of our ability.
